Super late writing this post—I caught up-and-coming Long Island hip-hop artist DA The Future at one of his shows back in April. After listening to his 2014 EP 18N I really wanted to see him perform—it worked out that he was doing a show with some other local acts at Trifecta in Copiague. I had my camera with me as usual—here’s a quick look at some of my favorite shots from that night:

Second up was DUD Music—a group of super-talented musicians fronted by Dudley Salmon. Dudley wrote, composed, produced and played just about every instrument that appear on the groups debut album On My Way. He was just featured on 10 Songs Out Of Long Island You Should Hear Part 6. Here are some of my favorite shots from his set:
Kojo Stone is a neo-soul artist out of Brooklyn—he’s got a super unique style of music, in my favorite part of his performance he put down the mic and went a cappella. Here are a couple of my favorite shots from his set:

Stakcz is a hard hitting rapper out of North Babylon—I picked up his mixtape The Pre-Show the next day—one of the best parts about going to shows like this is being exposed to new talent like Stakcz. Here are a bunch of shots I got from his set:

Finally, at around 2 in the morning, my dude DA took the stage for his set. It was a late night, but definitely worth the wait—DA’s set was full of energy and he was out in the crowd interacting with the audience for a lot of it. We featured DA in 10 Songs Out Of Long Island You Should Hear Part 6—he’s one to watch, can’t wait to hear and see more from this guy. Here are some of my favorite shots from his set:
